Offiical Rules
  • Everyone is invited to participate.  This includes current FlavaFitness Studio members, their friends and family members, co-workers, etc.

  • The challenge is 6-weeks long from Apr 6 – May 17, 2015.

  • The team/crew must have between 4 and 10 members (if you do not have a team/crew, we will add you to one).

  • Each team must have a team/crew leader and a team/crew name.

  • Participants must check into and post on the Spring Into Shape Flava Crew Challenge Facebook Group Page 5 or more days per week and submit their progress.  1 point will be given to each crew member per “progress” post (1 per day) each week. 

  • Progress posts must consist of the following information: Team Name, Week Number, Day Number, Daily Exercise Activity Completed and Time, Daily Fruit and Vegetable Intake, and Daily Water Intake.  1 point will be given to each crew member for each goal completed per day for a daily total of 4 points per day (3 goal points and 1 progress post point).

  • Each crew member will receive 1 bonus point per week if they complete EVERY goal for a minimum of 5 days per week; 2 bonus points if completed 6 days per week; and 3 bonus points if completed 7 days per week.

  • Each crew member may set a weight loss or maintenance goal.  The weight loss goal should not be more than 12 pounds during the 6-week period of the challenge (2 pounds per week).  If you choose to maintain your weight, you must be within 2 pounds of your beginning weight at the end of the challenge to earn the bonus points.  If this goal is met, the crew member will earn 6 bonus points for meeting the weight goal.

  • Each crew member is challenged to exercise a minimum of 30 minutes, 5 or more days per week.  3 weekly bonus points will be given for members who complete a 60 minute workout or attend FFS classes 3 times per week to complete their exercise goal.

  • Each crew member is challenged to eat 5 or more servings of fruits and/or vegetables each day and drink 8-8oz. glasses of water (sugar free flavored fluids are acceptable) daily.  3 bonus points per week will be given to each crew member that does not eat or drink items on the “Bad List” (posted on Facebook Challenge Page) at least 5 days per week.

  • Each crew member who earns a minimum of 200 points total by the end of the challenge will receive an additional bonus of 12 points (2 points per week).

  • Each crew will earn team bonus points for every crew member that completes every goal in every category.

  • Dance/Fitness Instructors that participate in the challenge will automatically receive 42 points for the exercise goal category and are not eligible to earn any additional bonus points for this category.

  • Each crew member will pay the fee of $5 to register and this fee will be added to the fees of all participants to create the winning jackpot.

  • The total points of all crew members for each team will be combined to determine the average score of the team for determining the winner!

  • Nutrition Goal - 1 point per day / 7 max per week / 42 max for the entire challenge

  • Water Goal - 1 point per day / 7 max per week / 42 max for the entire challenge

  • Accountability Goal - 1 point per day / 7 max per week / 42 max for the entire challenge

  • All Goals Completed Bonus - 

    • All goals completed 5 days in one week - 1 point per week / 6 max for the entire challenge

    • All goals completed 6 days in one week - 2 points per week / 12 max for the entire challenge

    • All goals completed 7 days in one week - 3 points per week / 18 max for the entire challenge

  • Exercise Bonus Points

    • Complete three 60 minute workouts or attend a 3 classes at FlavaFitness Studio one week - 3 points per week / 18 max for the entire challenge

  • Avoid the "Bad List" Bonus - 3 points per week / 18 max for the entire challenge

  • Weight Loss or Maintenance Goal Bonus - 6 points for the entire challenge

  • Reach 200 Points Bonus - 12 points for the entire challenge

  • Initial Sign Up Early Bird Bonus (by April 3rd) - 10 points

  • Accountability Goal - 5 points to crew total for EACH member that earned a minimum of 30 points / 30 points max

  • Weigh Loss Goal - 3 points to crew total for EACH member that met their weigth loss goal / 15 points max

  • FlavaFitness Studio Classes Bonus - 3 points to crew total for EACH member that attended 6 classes / 15 points max
